Production was only from 1981 - 1986, and on a much more limitedvolume than the cj7. Subsequently, values are 30-40% higher than similarlyequipped cj7's, and 50-60% higher than cj5's. My scrambler has been atexas truck it's entire life. 2 owners. There are no rust issues. Theoriginal floors and bed are still in the truck. The hardtop fits very nicely. The doors shut nicely as well, and close flush with the body and have even bodygaps all around. The paint on the truck is original and tells a tale of awesomeadventures and good times through its dings and scratches. The original transfer case, and axles are all still with the truck. The rearaxles has been upgraded to alloy one-piece axles and the front hubs have beenupgraded to superwinch locking hubs. The original 6 cylinder has 109,000 milesand change. It still has the original carter carb on it. Start up takes a 5-7pumps and about 30 seconds to get warmed up enough to idle nicely.

This is an awesome jeep to have fun in! Theup-grades and addition on the jeep are the following; new rims and tires (rimsand tires = $4,000) i have less than 2,000 miles on the tires. New brakes, newwindshield, new headers with full duel exhaust system, new rear seat, new stereoand wiring system (pioneer) re-conditioned 304 v8 (runs strong, verydependable), i have approx. 2000 miles on engine after recondition work, newradiator, tranny is solid and strong, new gauges. All in all it’s a greatjeep. It also has the solid doors for it, i have pictures listed without thedoors. I only have the bimini top. The jeep has the typical dents and dings from4 wheeling but nothing serious.

Comoptions:description:this is a 1985 amc jeep cj7 laredo that has been fully restored using real amc parts. The 6-cylinder 258 was removed 2 years ago and in its place we put a real amc 401 v8. At the same time, the body was completely stripped and repainted in the factory burgundy color. This jeep has all of its original floor pans, fenders, etc. It also comes with an extra set of half doors with matching paint. The 401 was fully dismantled all the way to the block and professionally rebuilt. The jeep has a mild cam, edelbrock intake, offenhauser valve covers and hedman headers. The jeep was also converted to a fast fuel injection system. We wanted to keep the jeep looking like it just drove off the showroom floor, while enhancing performance and reliability. It has power brakes and power steering using original amc parts. Tilt steering wheel, which is very rare. Those are real marchal fog lights, too. The interior of the jeep has all original amc parts, including original laredo front grill overlay, side mirrors, seats, steering wheel, center console, grab bar and door panels. The gauges are all original parts. The fuel filler overlay is an original part, as are the chrome bumperettes. Original front bumper. Original chrome wagon wheels with original hubs. Original fender flares. Original spare wheel swing arm. The a/c system was rebuilt and works great. Original carpets seatbelts and carpets. Original 4wd lockouts. The jeep also has been rekeyed with original amc key blanks that i found a couple years back. Air Conditioning
